He is a remote sensing and GIS technology specialist with extensive experience in hyper-spectral and LiDAR data processing. Head of several researches in remote sensing.

His research field is analysing distinguishing features of different kinds of tree species using airborne hyperspectral technology. As an assistant research fellow his main tasks are developing hyperspectral data processing methods, planning and implementing ground based measurement campaigns connected to remote sensing projects, participating in Research and Development projects in remote sensing topics, writing scientific papers at national and international levels.
